Thank you Dennis, Great information as always with the goal of generating additional member participation and the benefits that produces . ๐
When you look at the member login last at the bottom of the landing page, you see quite a few colors in there. Each color represents a different member group on the GACE Forums.
Below is a list of the colors and an explanation of each group. A member has a Primary group which is show below and can also have one or more Secondary groups. For instance, All Directors are also in the Member group as a Secondary group.

Administrator
Admins are responsible for keeping the GACE Forums up and running. They handle the software and all the background daily routines and maintenance.
Director
Members of the GACE Board of Directors
Member
Full members of the GACE Forums
Active Member
Full members with a bit more access. This group is very active and the GACE Forums and contribute content and respond to content posted by others. Promotion to this status is performed automatically by the forum software based on posts, responses, reactions and other means of participation on the GACE Forums. To achieve this status am Member must have: More than 25 achievement points, Earned at least First Post, Collaborator, Reaction, 6 Months In, and First File Download badges. They must have achieved at least the rank of Contributor and been a Member of the GACe Forums for at least 180 days.
New Member
A user that has just logged into the GACE Forums for the first time. To gain full member status to the GACE Forums, there are a few tasks that must be performed. Users must post at least 1 post or wait for 90 days before being upgraded. To achieve Member status: Be a member of the GACE Forums for at least 7 days, Earned the First Post badge. If the New Member does not meet these qualifications, they are automatically promoted to Member after 120 days.
Associate Member
This group is defined by the GACE By-laws.
Retired Member
No longer active Code Enforcement officers but want to keep up with the happenings.
Moderator
Have access to moderate the topics and conversations on the GACE Forums.
The New Member and Active Member groups were created to help generate interest in the GACE Forums and maybe create a little interest and drive for the membership to participate.
