Good Morning,

I am getting ready to ask my council to adopt the International Property and Maintenance Code. How do you assess fines for violations? Where do you get your fine amounts? Do I still need a local ordinance in place for fines?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have adopted the code it becomes part of your ordinance that you can write citations on. I met with my solicitor and set up fines. You can set up a fine for each violation and I would also set up one for repeat offenders.
