This alert is being issued to inform the membership of critical administrative failures by the current Board of Directors. These failures have resulted in the waste of association funds and the exposure of our assets to significant liability.

A Commitment to Factual Transparency
This post honors the timeline agreed upon by the President during yesterday's meeting and also respects the additional time I granted as a show of good faith by extending the deadline to 5:00 PM today. Despite these clear windows for compliance, the Board has failed to produce the requested records.

A History of Stagnation and Broken Deadlines

• Initial Request: Formal request for these records was first initiated on February 23, 2026.

• Expired Directives: The Presidential deadline from yesterday and my good-faith extension until 5:00 PM today have both lapsed without the production of a valid commercial insurance binder for the GACE enclosed trailer.

1. The "Yellow Slip" Double Standard
The irony of this Board’s culture is on full display during every spring/fall conference. The Board is remarkably focused regarding member compliance—micromanaging attendees to ensure "yellow slips" are signed for every class just to receive proper credit; while they enforce rigid rules for the membership, they are incredibly lackadaisical regarding Association assets. Equipment is casually traded, sold, hauled, and stored without proper licensing, state-mandated registration, or valid insurance.

2. Improper Asset Insurance & Commingling
The document provided by the President at 12:28 PM (attached below) shows an Association-owned trailer is being insured under a personal policy in an individual board member's name, with GACE listed only as a "Lienholder" (lender). This is not a commercial binder; it is a personal driving history report that likely voids coverage for Association business and suggests a dangerous commingling of personal and professional assets.

3. Operation of Assets Without Legal Title
Documented evidence shows that the Association's new trailer was operated on public roads—hauling GACE merchandise—well before legal title was even issued to the Association on March 30, 2026. Using Association property for official business before securing legal ownership is a gross violation of risk management.

4. Documented Waste of Association Funds
State records confirm that GACE was assessed a "Title Late Penalty" by the Department of Revenue due to a five-month delay in filing paperwork (Purchase Date: 11/01/2025; Issue Date: 03/30/2026). These membership funds were wasted solely due to administrative neglect.

The Facts are Admissible:
These are provable facts obtained from the Georgia Department of Revenue and the Board's own communications. A formal application for a Forensic Audit is currently being pursued to ensure full accountability for the membership.

I urge the membership to contact the GACE BOD and demand your membership dues be protected from late fees and penalties and that your assets as a member of GACE be protected. This organization and assets are yours, not the fiefdom of a select few.
