Greetings GACE Members

Nominations are OPEN for the GACE Commemorative Service Award. An award program in appreciation and memory to our wounded and fallen. 

This annual award is established to recognize a Code Enforcement Officer who has demonstrated exceptional dedication, going above and beyond their normal duties, or who has performed an act of heroism in the line of duty, enhancing the safety and well-being of the community.

This award will be given once per year. This award serves to inspire and motivate Code Enforcement Officers to continuously strive for excellence in their service to the community. The first award was presented to Shawn Rhodes of Augusta Richmond, in March 2025 at the Spring Conference in Savannah, Georgia. 

Please find the attached GACE Commemorative Service Award application.  Return your nominations no later than February 5, 2026,
