Good morning everyone,
I’m reaching out to gather information on the use of third-party inspectors to assist with building inspections. Specifically, we’re interested in learning:
Does your department currently utilize third-party inspectors?
If so, in what capacity are they used (e.g., overflow work, specialized inspections, etc.)?
Do you have formal policies or agreements in place regarding third-party use?
We’re looking to better understand how other jurisdictions are handling this and would greatly appreciate any insights, documentation, or experiences you’re willing to share.
Thank you in advance for your help!
