Spring 2025 Training Material Download(s)

When can attendees of the upcoming conference expect class materials to be available for download? The conference is rapidly approaching, and I have been unable to find mention of when the materials will be provided.

Training Materials are currently being disseminated via email to G.A.C.E. attendees.

Emails started last date, 2-19-2025 and will continue until all have received.

If you encounter a problem, remember to reach out to the spectacular Mrs. Anna Lawrence via her email, but please allow time for her to get everyone's information out as we have a lot of attendees.

Everyone stay safe on the drive to the conference and lets hope the weather is spectacular!

See you soon and best wishes.

I am interested to know why CVIOG and GACE abandoned the method whereby attendees could simply download the course materials at their leisure. The recent push to secure email systems by jurisdictions seems to be preventing some emailed course material from being delivered. This is an issue which needs to be addressed sooner rather than later.

If GACE/CVIOG websites are secure enough to submit cc payments for membership fees, conference fees, etc. then surely uploading the course material files should be secure? Help me understand the change in process, perhaps I am ignorant of an important issue which generated the change to emailing material as opposed to uploading.

Thank you, Jerry for raising this issue. I'll be sure to make this a discussion item on our Meeting Agenda for March 4th.

It has been stressed that many jurisdictions cannot access "DropBox". I am sure Anna and the CVIOG Team will work to accommodate our members for materials needed for classes.

Angel, it has been explained to me by our IT department that file size will cause rejection of emails and that seems to be the case with this current issue. The previous method of downloading the material worked flawlessly and email rejection wasn't a factor. What was "broken" that needed to be "fixed" by changing the method to obtain the course material? Help me understand.

Jerry,

Like all things: administrative processes change. This has been one that apparently will not be favorable for our organization.

I do understand your and other's frustration with this method. You are doing the right thing by pointing out the kinks, as are others.

I appreciate your patience, and we will put our best due diligence into getting everyone their course materials before the conference.

Good Lord willing, I will have the files posted on here today. I have contacted Anna and she is going to give me access so I can post on the GACE Forums.
