Board of Directors Election

  • Member

First off, I hope everyone has made it through this winter storm unscathe. If you must be out on the roads please be extremely careful, especially on back roads where black ice is most likely to be. Stay safe and warm.

Remember, this conference we have elections for four (4) Board of Directors positions. There are a group of fantastic candidates that are running for President, 2nd Vice, Sgt at Arms, and Secretary.

I wish all the candidates the best of luck.

I hope to see everyone in Savannah in March.

Thanks, Mark,

This winter stormย has provided us with beautiful snow and an opportunity to spend time with our families, from enjoying snowball fights and snow angels to snow ice cream. But, with that, there are unprepared roads and power lines that are not acclimated to this type of winter event.ย

I pray everyone takes safety precautions when returning to work. For those who have positions within their Emergency Management Teams, Thank you for always working during times like this.ย

I hope everyone is well and warm. Hope to see all of you in Savannah!

I definitely agree with you.

Mark,

I want to thank you for starting this post. I don't remember a time when a member (not running for a position) just randomly posted to remind our membership of upcoming conferences much less update that it is a voting conference.ย ย

We have more than capable candidates running for positions. I commend those who have expressed interest in this organization's future and accepted their nominations.

Thanks, Mark,ย

It looks like we will have a FULL conference, for sure!! I'm excited to see everyone again. I appreciate the wish of luck for another term, that means a lot to me. GACE will not be disappointed no matter who is seated as President or Sgt at Arms.
I'm glad to have a job, family, and friends who support me.ย As many are aware, there have been a few timesย when I thought I would not be coming back, but the support of members and my husband reminded me of where my heart is.

See you in Savannah, and Happy Monday!!
