Is anyone familiar with this process. Are there any inspections performed? My understanding is once they do this, they no longer buy a mobile home decal, it is considered real property and is appraised as though it was a stick built home.

Is this something like Homestead Exemption? I've seen where they surrender the title and attach the manufactured home to the property. It allows for one tax bill.  I will ask our Tax Collector to explain this to me tomorrow and come back with a comment of her response.

Here is the written response from our Tax Directors' office:

Good morning Angel,

            This forms means that the title for the mobile home has been surrendered and that the mobile home can not be moved. It is then considered to be real estate and no decal is needed. If a new title is received or if they move the home then a decal will be needed .
