Swimming Pool fencing requirements (Please respond to Randi Doveton)

Good Morning,

I am reaching out to determine how other jurisdictions are interpreting and enforcing Section 305 of the 2018 IPSC.  Specifically, are other jurisdictions allowing a swimming pool to be located in a fenced yard with no additional barrier between the pool area and the remainder of the yard. Our interpretation has been 3FT from the edge of the decking, provided the decking is at least 20 inches from water’s edge. This has met with resistance from several contractors who have complained to administration. Administration would like to know if we are in the majority or minority on this enforcement, so I am attempting to reach out to both GAZA and GACE to reach as many jurisdictions as possible.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
