I hope all is well.

I wanted to inquire about if/how you all regulate the hotel/motels in your area. 

I have a couple of questions:

1.       Do you all complete code compliance inspections or do you require the entity to contract with a 3rd party company for hotel/motels in your area?

2.       How do you all regulate the complaints, if any, that come in pertaining to the upkeep and maintenance of hotels/motels? Including the interior rooms.

I think Augusta can help you out.  If I'm not mistaken they have an inspection program for hotels. 

We do not have a program in place for inspecting hotels/motels but if we receive a complaint we treat it as an apartment and see if we can visit then speak with management.

@Keybo We follow suite as to what @Keith C mentioned.

We don't have motel/hotel inspection policy, mainly because we don't have any in our county.  We have a couple in some of the cities and I believe they have their own policies.  I will have to check.
