Are there are any jurisdictions that provide bulk waste pickup service for their communities? The City of Grovetown is undergoing a revision of our bulk waste pickup service for the community.

We would greatly appreciate to hear from anyone whose jurisdiction provides a similar service for their community. If you don't mind providing a copy of your jurisdiction's Ordinance(s) or other types of guidelines and procedures.

We have a work order system. Which I think is typical of most communities. If your community is contracting with a solid waste company that serves multiple jurisdictions around you, they will have an idea of where to start with Grovetown. 

You can go through Municode and check out other jurisdictions "Solid Waste" ordinances. I'll look too and see if I can help you find more information.

Could you provide more information pertaining to how your work order system works. I believe this maybe the type of system we are looking for.

We use the 311 work order system. Just go to our city of albany webpage at www.albanyga.gov, click on How do I, then click Create a Service Request. It is that easy.
