Does any jurisdiction have a street light ordinance for subdivisions?  Looking for an ordinance that details locations, how many, lumens, etc.  We are trying to create an ordinance and would like some input.

I live in a neighborhood that has street lights.  They are spaced about every four to five houses.  I called Gwinnett county, as they are on the right of way to add another light so my property is well lite.  Bottom line:  building plans that were approved, showed where lights would be placed, period.  If one bulb goes out, someone in the hood needs to call Gwinnett County.  These lights cost humm, around $36 a year,  to each property owner.  See the tax bill. What a great deal.  As far as me and adding a street light, well it will have to be on my property and cost about $30 a MONTH.
