Small city searching for possible grants to fund radio purchase. Officers need ability to communicate with 911 dispatch in the event of an emergency. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is an awesome idea and need! I am working to get a letter to be sent out to local leaders on the importance of 2way radio's. I will do a search for grant opportunities.

I worked in a small city.  These low fines are not making the homeowner do the right thing. 

I work in a pretty low populated town and we have radios... maybe speak with your chief of police/fire or city counselors and talk about possibly using some of their old radios. There has to be a few floating around as back up radios.
