Madam President and Dearest Board Members,
Jerry’s lastest threats are an attempt at scare tactics. I will not be scared of him.
My supposedly “unhinged” conduct is completely mischaracterized and is over inflated to say the least. This proves yet once more an allegation is all that’s needed to steer this Board in directions at will.
You witnessed what I said and while I used body language to emphasize my communications efforts at NO TIME was I ever “unhinged”. Furthermore, AT NO TIME have I ever advocated to operate outside the By-Laws of GACE. After all my job is to enforce those same rules. Jerry’s statement “Mr. DuBose serves as a GACE instructor, yet he has been documented on the record advocating for code officers to “willfully operated outside of bylaws” is an absolute LIE as is “teach a philosiphy of rule evasion”.
THIS IS SLANDER AND WILL BE TREATED AS SUCH WHEN A FORMAL GREIVANCE IS FILED BY ME. Jerry will not be allowed to slander, assasinate my character or otherwise ruin my reputation within this organization or outside of it with impunity.
Let him make his threats. Let him seek legal counsel. Let him file a suit against an organization he supposedly supports and respects because in the end He is the one doing the most damage to this association.
Again allegations appear to be all that’s needed to cast shadows on an organization and a Board who have served with Honor, Integrety and Respect up and until we disagreed with him and his committee on an award “NOMINATION”. It was at that point, apparently in his eyes that ceased to be the case.
This Board has made valid attempts to and has complied with Jerry’s demands and yet he continuously moves the goal post.
Madam President when will you stand firm for this Board? I do realize I will get blow back from this question, however, I’m not alone in asking it.
Those Board members who are under attack by these allegations of “slander” and “defemation of Character” and others to name just a couple feel as though they are being sacrificed to pacify this man. To be clear, the reference to “those Board members” are Russell, Joyce, Cassandra and myself. Keeping in mind at one time he wanted five members (including Pam) removed. However he has now expressed he full support for her and she is no longer in his sights. To be honest I don’t think she ever was truly in his sights.
I hereby demand this email become part of the open records an placed on the GACE website and availble for membership review.
